How to Measure for Hair Extensions
Extension length is measured from the top of the weft or bond to the tip of the hair strand – not from the installation point on the head. When measuring a client, measure from approximately where the extension will be installed (usually around the mid-ear to nape area) to determine what final length they will achieve.
18 Inch Hair Extensions
18 inch extensions are considered a medium length. They typically fall just below the shoulder blade on most clients. They are ideal for:

Length and Curl Shrinkage
